於2018年6月16日至18日期間，「減塑大使」會到訪赤柱海濱實行一項回收塑膠行動。「減塑大使」將會向遊客示範正確的回收膠樽方法，並分享最新的減塑資訊。活動期間所回收到的膠樽將被送往V Cycle，以支持一項「拾樽背後• 關懷扶貧」 的回收及升級再造項目。
From 16th to 18th June 2018, a team of Plastic Reduction Ambassadors will outreach to Stanley waterfront area to implement a plastic collection campaign. Ambassadors will showcase the proper way of recycling plastic bottles and share the latest information on plastic reduction with visitors. The plastic bottles collected will be sent to V Cycle and support their “10 Tonnes PET Bottles Collection Challenge”, a plastic collection and upcycling campaign.

此計劃由本會與Green Dragons HK協辦 ，為清潔海洋、減少塑膠污染、建設美好香港出一分力。計劃的涵蓋範圍包括赤柱遊客區及鄰近沙灘區域，希望餐廳商戶與遊客能建立對塑膠污染的認知，從而減少使用一次性塑膠，支持環保。
This is a green project initiated by the Jane Goodall Institute (HK) and Green Dragons HK,that will highlight your contribution to a better ocean, a better Stanley, a better Hong Kong.The principal aim is to reduce plastic pollution in and around Stanley beaches encouraging paddlers to bring their own water bottles and food containers, stimulating sponsors to eliminate plastic offerings at dragon boat events and organising regular beach clean-ups with the dragon boat teams.
