Thank you to all of those who joined us in celebrating the International Day of Peace, in Hong Kong and around the world. Hong Kong's students were out flying our Giant Peace Dove and sharing the message of hope and peace with the rest of the community. It was a truly inspirational day.

Jane Goodall in Hong Kong
June 2009
Jane's most recent Hong Kong visit was jam packed. Here for only 1 full day Jane managed to meet with educational leaders for breakfast, the American Chamber of Commerce for Lunch and was inspiring all who attended the gala dinner at the conrad Hotel. While in Hong Kong, Jane also met with Dr. Lee from the Hong Kong Observatory, the staff at Playlab - Meaningful Games and Edward Yau, the Secretary for environment. Jane left Hong Kong inspired by the young people she met and excited about what she will see on her next visit to Hong Kong - lots of new Roots & Shoots groups!
