Got a super story that needs some attention? Want to spread the word on what you think is important?
Really, couldn't you use some more limelight in you life? We want to highlight what you're doing on the website! Here's what you need to send us:
- Tell us who you are
- Roots & Shoots group name
- City and province you're based in
- Who is in the photo
- A great image
- Could be a photo of your group in action, could be art you've created with a message...
- Keep in mind that a good photograph for websites or to get media attention is different than a keepsake photo for group members. It will be one that expresses action, leaving you wondering what the story is behind it.
- The story
- Tell us about it! Your project, your fundraiser, how your group has this great system for making decisions together. There are good stories everywhere!
- Answer the classic journalism questions: Who is involved? What is/was/will be happening? Where? Why is this exciting/important? How will you do it/can other people get involved?
- We'll touch it up, create a headline (better yet, create your own!) and spread your fame far and wide!
